The Security Protocol can be used to secure, give access, or remove claims on all Machines. There are 3 types of protocols.

To Claim a Security Protocol, just press Shift +Right Click while holding an empty Security Protocol. Then you can cycle through the mods, again by pressing Shift and Right Clicking white holding the protocol. The 3 types of protocols are as follows:

  •  Security Protocol Claim Icon Claim Mode. In this mode, the player can claim unclaimed machines by right-clicking them. The Protocol will be consumed in the process.
  • Security Protocol Access Icon Access Mode. In this mode, any player can access secured machines, just by having this protocol in one’s inventory.
  • Security Protocol Remove IconRemove Mode. In this mode, a claim to a machine can be removed, by right-clicking on a secured machine.
